Allen Flavors hosted an open house celebrating an 85,000 sq. ft. expansion in manufacturing space and the dedication of the Lenny Allen Sales Center.

Joey Allen cut the ribbon dedicating the sales center in memory of his father, Lenny Allen who served the flavor industry from 1945-1975. The expanded facility located in South Plainfield, NJ, houses analytical, quality control and quality assurance laboratories, one of which is dedicated to a single national beverage brand. Also at the South Plainfield location is Allen’s distribution center for its proprietary beverage kits and the distribution center for Nestlé coffee and tea for which Allen Flavors is the American master distributor. The facility manufactures the wet components of Allen’s beverage kits which with a dry component make up the proprietary beverage formulations Allen Flavors is famous for. The dry blending and dry manufacturing will remain in nearby Edison as will executive administrative and operation offices, research and development laboratories and a new flavor laboratory which opened in May and the manufacturing of over 125 coffee roasting flavors, some proprietary, which Allen supplies to more than two hundred roasters located throughout the United States and Canada.
