Andrew Allen and represented Allen Flavors, Inc. and exhibited roasting flavors at the 97th Annual Convention of the National Coffee Association. For the first time, the convention showcased two fundraising events, the Coffee Quality Institute Fundraising Breakfast (CQI) and the International Women's Coffee Alliance (IWCA) Fundraising Luncheon.

The National Coffee Association's 97th Annual Convention took place at The Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort and Club in Aventura, Florida. More than 400 people were in attendance, including 300 senior executives, from throughout the coffee industry. This year's Official Convention Host is the Starbucks Coffee Company.

Educational sessions addressed a wide range of germane subjects including a program led by Karl Schmidt of Probat Burns on How To Mitigate The Environmental Impact Of Coffee Roasting. How Knowledge Of Packaging Trends And Innovations Are Critical To Stay Competitive was chaired by Chris Burger of Fres-co System USA, and What The Espresso Explosion Means For You was led by Margaret Heery of Bunn-O-Matic Corporation.
