National Association of Flavors and Food-Ingredient Systems
(NAFFS) is a broad-based trade association of manufacturers, processors and suppliers of fruits, flavors, syrups, stabilizers, emulsifiers, colors, sweeteners, cocoa and related food ingredients. Its associate membership is open to all companies that provide products and services to the food industry. Allen Flavors exhibits in association with Nestle at many of the NAFFS trade shows throughout the United States. Joe Moran, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Allen Flavors, Inc. is president of the board at NFFS.

Established in 2006, Northeast Dairy Association is a trade association whose membership is made up of suppliers, vendors, companies and organizations servicing the dairy processing, manufacturing and distribution industries in the Northeast U.S.

Quality Assurance International (Organic Certification)
QAI's independent, third party certification of organic food systems has been the foundation of domestic and international organic food trade, manufacturing and distribution industries in the Northeast U.S. Allen Flavor's plants have all been certified by QAI for organic certification.

Specialty Coffee Association Of America
The SCAA is the trade association for the specialty coffee industry, one of the fastest-growing food industries in the world. Allen Flavors is a Charter Member of the SCAA. Specialty coffee - sometimes called "gourmet" or "premium" coffee - is grown in the world's most ideal coffee-producing climates and prepared according to exacting standards.

One of the SCAA's primary functions is to set the industry's standards for growing, roasting and brewing. Members of the SCAA include coffee retailers, roasters, producers, exporters and importers, as well as manufacturers of coffee equipment and related products.

NCA's mission is to be the foremost trade association representing the entire coffee industry in the United States.The National Coffee Association of America is committed to the growth and well-being of the industry through our roles as:
• A proactive advocate for the industry, acting as the industry's recognized spokesperson and voice for promoting consumption.
• An educator for our members and consumers who leads the industry in facilitating research, and gathering and disseminating relevant research data.
• A forum for interaction that addresses key issues confronting the domestic and international industry.
Founded in 1939, the Institute of Food Technologists is a nonprofit scientific society with 22,000 members working in food science, food technology, and related professions in industry, academia, and government.

IFT publishes various resources for the food industry, including Food Technology and the Journal of Food Science. IFT also conducts the world's largest annual convention on food grown, processed, manufactured, distributed, and eaten worldwide: the IFT Annual Meeting & Food ExpoSM.
As the authoritative voice of food science and technology, IFT contributes to public policy and opinion at national, state, and local levels. IFT's Office of Science, Communications, and Government Relations advocates the scientific perspective on food science and technology issues.
Through the IFT Foundation , IFT supports programs such as undergraduate scholarships, graduate fellowships, science-based communications to media and policy makers, career guidance programs, and food science awards.
